Marcus Larsson is a Swedish artist born in 1976, based in Stockholm. He is known for vibrant and dynamic works that bridge classic painting with contemporary pop art and modern visual expressions. Larsson’s artistic practice seamlessly integrates digital techniques with traditional mediums such as acrylic and oil, pushing the boundaries of artistic expression.

His subjects are often drawn from travel, architecture and everyday moments, with inspiration from photography, pop art, music and contemporary visual culture. The result is a body of colourful work that moves between reality and fiction.

Born in Ljung in Västra Götaland County, Larsson has a multifaceted creative background. Before fully dedicating himself to visual art, he founded the premium menswear brand Ljung® in 2007. His artistic career gained early momentum in London before he returned to Sweden and established his studio on Narvavägen in Stockholm.

Alongside his own projects and exhibitions, Larsson works on commission with architects and interior designers, creating artworks specifically for hotels, offices and other public spaces.
